Rare View Chelsea

The main area of Rare View faces north, and has an impressive view of the Empire State Building and surrounds.  (There also an unobstructed, but less photo worthy, view south.)  In other respects, however, this feels like a regular bar.  The decor and layout are unremarkable, and it could ambiance is nothing special.  We prefer the Rare View location in Murray Hill.
