Hotel Metro Rooftop Bar

The Empire State Building towers above the Hotel Metro, but this fourteenth floor bar is not high enough to clear neighboring buildings and the rest of the view is unremarkable. You may want to stop by if you're in the area (which has very few decent bars) and in the mood for knocking back a beer or two in a relaxed outdoor setting. But don't expect to come here and party: the rooftop closes at 9.30pm most nights. Not surprisingly, the clientele consists mostly of hotel guests who take a photo or two and leave.
