The Penthouse at the Park

The Penthouse is one of a number of interconnected dining and drinking rooms at the Park Hotel. The downstairs restaurant, atrium and indoor lounge with fireplace lead to an open staircase lit by hanging Chinese lanterns. The second level consists of a rooftop patio that is enclosed and heated in the winter. We like the space but the scene here is not what it once was; its sheer size means that even when it is relatively busy it feels deserted.
